One of the great things about golf putting lessons is that the improvements often happen much more quickly than in the ‘main’ golf swing. This is partly because amateur golfers actually know surprisingly little about putting, but it is also because with putting there are far fewer moving parts in the swing.
Due to this another good way to take golf putting lessons is with some instructional golf DVDs. Since one of the main aims of putting is to stay as STILL as possible during the stroke you can work on this yourself by looking in a mirror for example. If you have a good quality DVD the putting lesson will include drills that give you instant feedback, and the great thing about putting lessons on DVD is that you can watch them over and over again. Golf professionals can teach you all there is to know about golf, but it’s not easy to remember everything that’ s covered in a lesson so being able to replay them is a great advantage.
